I dreamed I was doing some sort of a medicine journey. My guide was a woman. I don’t know who she was and she was familiar. There was some prep work that I did with her, but I don’t remember what that was. What was vivid was The experience of being taken away by this medicine. My body was buzzing, vibrating with energy, which I can still feel. At one point I felt a powerful pain on my left lower back and I interpreted it to be an accumulation of trauma or spiritual emotional pain, and I asked the woman to Massage or work it out and she started to apply pressure with which exaggerated the pain, but I can feel that it was healing. As that happened, I slowly became aware that I was in a dream and that I was waking up. Prior to the journey, there was some prep work. I remember it being assigned to me by the woman. I don’t remember what it was. I think my sister Abbie was there during the prep work. It may have involved an interview with someone on the staff around some stories from my childhood. But I don’t remember.I remember seeing lots of colors in my mind as my body buzzed from the effects of the medicine. I don’t know what medicine it was. I really didn’t want to wake up when I realized that I was I wanted to keep going with my journey. It was such a vivid dream and it’s fading fast from my memory now. I still feel the buzzing in my body.
Your dream of embarking on a medicine journey with a female guide is rich with symbolism and deeper meanings. Here's an interpretation of the various elements of your experience:
Medicine Journey: In dreams, embarking on a medicine journey often represents a deep dive into personal healing and transformation. This could signify that you are ready to confront and heal from past traumas or emotional pains. The medicine in your dream serves as a catalyst for change and awakening, guiding you to a higher state of consciousness.
The Female Guide: The woman guiding you is likely a representation of your inner wisdom or feminine energy, which is often connected to intuition, healing, and nurturing. The fact that she feels familiar suggests that this aspect of yourself is well-known to you, perhaps a subconscious part that's offering you comfort and guidance.
Preparation Work: The preparatory phase with the guide and your sister hints at the necessary groundwork required before delving into personal transformation. Even if the details are hazy, this prep work implies that you are introspective about your past, seeking to understand how childhood experiences have shaped your emotional world.
Physical Sensations: The buzzing and vibrating of your body can be symbolic of an energetic release or awakening. This sensation often aligns with spiritual experiences or transitions, indicating that you are processing significant emotional energy.
Pain and Healing: The pain in your left lower back, connected to trauma, suggests that you are pinpointing specific areas of unresolved emotional burden. By asking the guide to help and feeling a sense of healing despite the intensified pain, your dream illustrates your willingness to endure discomfort for the sake of emotional release and healing.
Colors and Awareness: Seeing colors might represent a surge of creativity, emotions, and insights flooding your consciousness. As colors often symbolize different emotions and states of mind, this indicates that you're in a state of emotional and mental expansion.
Desire to Continue: Not wanting to wake up and wanting to continue the journey shows a strong desire to explore and transcend beyond current limitations. It's a part of your inner drive to seek growth and further understanding of your personal and spiritual path.
Fading Memory of the Dream: The fleeting nature of your memory signifies the elusive quality of dreams but also highlights the importance of this experience. The lingering feeling of buzzing suggests that the experience, although partially forgotten, has left an indelible impact on your consciousness.
Overall, your dream is an invitation to embrace healing, pay attention to your intuitive self, and remain open to emotional growth. It's a reflection of an internal readiness to face and process past experiences, with the guidance of your own inner wisdom and support systems. Consider exploring meditation, journaling, or mindfulness practices to further integrate these insights into your waking life.
